Maps and Aerials

 

When I started this website, maps and aerials were hard to come by, but now, just go to google maps and search for Basham Lane or Trappers run in Sussex, WI and you will find an up-to-date map with 2D and 3D options.  Here is the link in early 2021, but google sometimes changes things.

In 2003, when the developers were starting to sell the lots, they produced this plat of the neighborhood with all the lot numbers.

One year, for our annual meeting, I went back to the GIS data for the neighborhood.  They had aerial photos dating back to 1941 of the Beaumont Farm.  I snipped all the images they had (up to 2010 at that time) and made this poster so you can see the changes over the years.  The one constant is the rockpile that is still just north of the MD entrance.  One of the terraces ran through my backyard and you can still see a change in color in the grass.
